From the town of Wilderness, stay on the N2 and 3,4 km after the Wilderness Caltex garage on the left, turn left at the green and white Hoekwil sign.
Continue down this road, cross the railway line up the Serpentine pass into the town of Hoekwil.
4,1 km from the railway line turn left into Bosbok Laan (gravel road). Continue until you see a row of tall pines on your right. Where the pines end, turn right through the gate onto the River Cabin property.
It is recommended, and especially in wet weather, to park here on higher ground and walk the 50m through the fynbos down to the cabin.
